AOpen ships XC Cube EX915 SFF i915Gr Barebones PC

AOpen(R) Inc., an award-winning, global leader in PC component design and manufacturing, proudly announced today that it is one of the first to ship small form factor (SFF) PCs based on the i915G chipset in the United States and Canada. The XC Cube EX915 barebones PC -- the elegant new flagship of AOpen's growing SFF product line -- is one of the world's smallest and most powerful products of its type available on the market today and is virtually unparalleled in its feature offerings and performance. "The EX915 represents yet an even higher level of performance in our already popular series of XC Cube small form factor barebones PCs," said Chris Liu, Senior Director, XC Cube Business Management, AOpen Inc. "We've included all the previous high-performance features available in earlier versions of the XC Cube and now introduce the EX915, which is specially designed to maximize the incredible power and performance offered by the new i915G chipset." Liu also elaborated further on the XC Cube's exclusive thermal efficiencies and noise reduction engineering by saying, "Unlike other SFF models, we keep the XC Cube cool with our patented heat pipe that utilizes a copper fin heat sink, coupled with a side-blow fan and a dedicated air duct to keep the CPU temperature low. We're able to stay within the SFF size limits, yet still achieve an effective thermal balance, and still keep the noise level at nearly 30% less than the competition."

In addition to great performance, the XC Cube EX915 offers a number of outstanding features that both power users and gamers alike will appreciate:

-- 275-watt power supply

-- 16x PCI-express graphics slot

-- 4 x SATA

-- Intel P4 HT 520/530/540/550/560 CPU compatibility

-- Enhanced heat pipe with fan duct for maximum CPU cooling

-- 2 Fans for more thermal efficiency and quiet operation

-- V4 Power Engine -- patented AOpen technology providing optimized power density, transient response and thermal performance

The new AOpen XC Cube EX915 (model #95.EX159.311/EX915) has an MSRP of $399 USD, comes with a 1-year limited warranty and is now available through all AOpen distributors and resellers in North America.
