Smartphones Aug 7,2007 0

Bejeweled, the popular shape-matching game from Pop-Cap Games, has been released in a version made specifically for users of the Apple iPhone mobile device. Bejeweled for the iPhone uses the abilities of the Safari web browser and AJAX web coding techniques to offer a mobile gaming experience that takes advantage of the iPhone's unique software and resolution. According to a report at Business Week, PopCap worked with Polish developer Arkadiusz Mlynarczyk, who one of the first iPhone developers to expose the iPhone's ability to play games by coding the Bejeweled clone known as Diamenty. Bejeweled for the iPhone is available now for free by going to www.popcap.com via the iPhone's Safari web browser
