New AudioDev CEO To Drive Company's Future

New AudioDev CEO To Drive Company's Future

Optical Storage Nov 21,2012 0

AudioDev has appointed Marco Lischnewski as new CEO, replacing Peter Falk who has been in charge of AudioDev since 2009. Marco Lischnewski has been working for AudioDev in the past, where his most recent responsibility was within business development for the company’s German office.

"I am looking forward to taking charge of AudioDev, as the company has the leading role within optical media testing as well as branching out into new businesses, such as testing the wireless power standard Qi" says Marco Lischnewski.

"After 26 years in the optical media business I have decided it was time for me to move on to new challenges. I wish AudioDev all success in the future and am confident that they will always be a major player for high quality test and verification equipment in different fields" says Peter Falk.

The change in management is effective immediately.

AudioDev has been a leading supplier of complete solutions for quality control of optical media and of inspection systems for quality assurance in the manufacture of thin layers and films as well as reference test tools for the wireless power standard Qi.

AudioDev is also a contributing member to the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC), which aimes at establishing Qi as the global standard for powering rechargeable electronic products.
