Dell Releases New Vostro 3000 Series And Colorful Inspiron R Lineup
Dell today unveiled its Vostro 3000 series laptops with 12 hours of battery life on select models and virtual collaboration solutions. Teh company also lifted the curtain on the Inspiron R with SWITCH laptop line by Design Studio collection.
Available in 13-, 14-, 15- and 17-inch forms, the Dell Vostro 3000 Series packs the latest Intel 2nd generation Core I Series processorsand features the voice enhancing technology SRS Premium Voice Pro software. A full HD webcam as well as a digital array mic are offered with the 14-, 15- and 17-inch laptops.
The new Vostro 3000 laptops offer the following:
* A chiclet keyboard, durable aluminum finish and choice of three colors ? Aberdeen Silver, Lucerne Red and Brisbane Bronze
* Pre-installed Skype and the ability to launch any VoIP or video conferencing application via one customizable dashboard button
* USB 3.0, standard built-in finger-print reader and Trend Micro Worry-Free Business Security
* Intel 2nd generation Core I Series processors, switchable graphics, DDR3, USB 3.0, BT 3.0
The new Vostro 3000 series will be available in the U.S. on Dell.com on starting on March 22.

This morning Dell also lifted the curtain on the Inspiron R with SWITCH laptops by Design Studio collection.
Available today at Dell.com, the new Inspiron R 14-, 15- and 17-inch laptops are powered by Sandybridge Core processors, feature a USB 3.0 port and up to 8GB of memory. But their basic feature is the new switchable lid option which gives the SWITCH lineup its name. Just pop off the lid whenever you feel like a change and swap it out with one of 25 colors and designs, including some that were designed by OPI, Threadless, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation and (PRODUCT) Red.
The new Inspiron R SWITCH collection is available in 14, 15 and 17 inch models, all with battery life (up to 13 hours with the 9 cell battery) and HD displays.
