Dr DivX goes open source with the public release of the Dr DivX Beta 2 encoding tool. DivX encoding tool allows you to create DivX media files for playback on DivX hardware and software players.

The Beta 2 version can be downloaded here. (Windows only, Mac and Linux versions coming soon).
