Super Talent Technology, a manufacturer of Flash storage solutions and DRAM memory modules has added two new USB drives to its series of Pico flash drives. Today we take a look to the Pico-C and Pico-D models that are supposed to be the world's smaller 8GB drives.

Super Talent's patented PICO USB drives pack huge capacities into a tiny case. Half the size of an SD card, each PICO drive is smaller than the plug at the end of a USB cable! But tiny does not have to mean fragile or slow. Encased in a sleek and solid metal housing, no-compromise PICO drives are shock- and water-resistant to hold up under harsh conditions. And Supertalent didn't forget to include zippy 200x transfer speeds.

The SuperTalent Pico drive include three variations: PICO-A, with a swivel lid; the retractable PICO-B; and ultra small PICO-C. The PICO-D is exactly like the PICO-A, with black color. Super Talent’s patented PICO series USB drives are manufactured using chip-on-board (COB) technology, which enables up to 8GB of Flash storage to fit into an incredibly minute case. PICO-C drives weigh less than a nickel (about 4.7 grams) and measure only 31.3mm x 12.4mm x 3.4mm.

SuperTalent provided us the PICO-C and PICO-D models. Each of them costs under $25. Both products are well protected in a plastic shell:

The PICO-D model comes with black color and has handy swivel lid that retracts the USB end in order to be connected to a USB port.

The included key chain is essential since this very small USB flash drive can be easily lost. Its exact dimensions are 39.7mm x 13.5mm x 4.9mm.

The second drive, the Supertalent PICO-C, is probably one of the smaller USB flash drives you can buy. There are no leds to show activity, just plug-it in an empty USB port. The drive has a a cap holder hole that can be paired with the included key chain.
