In order to test the writing quality of the burned DVD+R DL DL, we again used the LiteOn SOHD-167T and Plextor PX-712A drives.

• Verbatim DVD+R9 2.4X @ 4X

SONY DRU-710A reported very good performance with Verbatim double layer media. No error at all with both LiteON and Plextor drives, and low PI error levels. Of course, booktype changes are always possible, while DVD-ROM booktype is the default booktype setting for DVD+R9 media.
