OCZ has a new 2x2GB memory proposal with the OCZ2RPX800EB4GK product. While the memory is rated "only" at 800MHz (PC2-6400), it proved to be capable of reaching up to 1100MHz. Of course, the ultimate performance can be achieved using a corresponding motherboard, probably based at Nvidia's 680/780i chipsets. The 2x2GB kit promises CL4 at 800MHz with 2.00V, which was confirmed in our tests using an Asus Maximus Formula motherboard(Intel X38 chipset). Rising up voltage to 2.20V will also get a CL5 at 1000MHz and at 1067Mhz.

The included memory cooling system called ReaperX HPC (Heat Pipe Conduit) is also a pleasant add-on and from our small experience, it seems to effectively keeping memory modules cool, even when overclocking. Of course their height could make it difficult to be installed in small PC cases. Anyway we have no problem suggesting this memory kit to anyone who needs a 2x2GB module, especialy if if you are running any x64 operating system. The modules are available for $160, and hopefully they will become your companion for quite some time. Nice product OCZ :-)
