OCZ Technology sent us the retail package of the 600W Power Supply model, part number (OCZ600MXSP). The device retails for $95.00 ~ $99.00 .

The size of the PSU is 150 x 160 x 86mm, typically following the ATX v2.2 standard. The inclusion of the 140mm fan is kind of new for the OCZ products and it works really quiet. The fan is also load-controlled, aka will spin according to the workload.

.

The power supply has a matte black smooth finish that adds points to the overall look and design.

The edges are not sharp so you can easily handle it . The power supply has also a modular design that helps eliminate the cable mess you find inside most PC cases. The red connectors handle the the the PCI-E cables, while the four black outputs will power the rest components of your PC.

The rear of the OCZ PUS has a honeycomb design that helps keeping the PSU's internal temperature low.

The ModXstream Pro series has a typical design with four rails, each handing different voltages. The two +12V outputs are connected to the same rail, offering a up to 25A. The +5 and the +3.3V lines can also offer up to 25A, meaning that the PSU can efficiently power SLI/Crossfire configurations.

Several modular cables included in the package:

Their length is typical at 80cm for SATA/IDE cables and 48cm for the PCI-e cables . However, the 24-pin ATX and CPU cables are not very long (46cm).  The IDE cables have molex design. We should note here that we didn't t like the fact that the 20+4 and 4+4pin CPU cables are not joined.
