Writing Quality Tests

We used many media and burned them at various recording speeds with Cyberdrive CW088D. We used Nero 5.5.9.6 for all the recordings. The produced CDs, were measured from DigitalDrives and results are illustrated in the following table

The general writing quality of Cyberdrive CW088D is more than adequate, in all the recording speeds. The error rate in most cases is low and no C2 errors occurred, with just one exception with Cyberdrive 48X media. The best results at 48X came with Mitsubishi Chemicals 80min 48X media, where the average C1 rate was 1.5. The results also show that writing on non 48X certified media, will not always lead to low quality discs, but of course this can be considered more as an exception and not as a rule for your everyday burnings.
