RICOH is pleased to announce the release of the special-edition high-end compact digital camera "RICOH GR IV 30th Anniversary Edition Kit," commemorating the 30th anniversary of the GR Series. It will be available in a limited quantity of 6,000 units worldwide.

Since the release of the RICOH GR1 film camera in October 1996, the GR Series has been committed to the essential GR values of high image quality, quick response, and portability, in pursuit of the ultimate snapshot camera. The current products in the series have continued that commitment without change, and we are deeply grateful for the support they have received from both professionals and experienced amateurs alike.

Based on the RICOH GR IV (released in September 2025), this model features a shutter release button and rear buttons with a color scheme themed on the first-generation GR1. It also comes with a special-edition ring cap with a diamond-cut finish inspired by the area around the lens of the GR1. The ring cap is specially designed so that the diamond-cut surfaces catch the light beautifully when the lens is retracted, without causing unwanted reflections on the subject during shooting. This camera also features a special power-off graphic that appears when the camera is turned off. Additionally, this special-edition model comes with exclusive accessories: a genuine leather finger strap engraved with "30th ANNIVERSARY," a metal hot shoe cover engraved with the 30th anniversary logo, and 16 different special pin badges.

Main features of the RICOH GR IV 30th Anniversary Edition Kit
The shutter release button and the buttons on the rear of the camera are finished in a special color inspired by the plated finish used on the first-generation GR1.
A special power-off graphic with a GR 30th anniversary design, exclusive to this model, is displayed when the camera is turned off.
A ring cap "GN-3 (30th)" with a diamond-cut design inspired by the design of the GR1 lens area is fitted as an exclusive accessory. The diamond-cut surfaces catch the light only when the lens is retracted (with the power off), while the ring cap is specially designed so that reflections do not appear on the subject during shooting.
A genuine leather finger strap is included as an exclusive accessory. This is a special design with "30th ANNIVERSARY" engraved on its reverse side. The finger strap takes up very little space when stored or carried.
A special-edition metal hot shoe cover "GK-2 (30th)" in steel gray is also included as an exclusive accessory. The 30th anniversary logo is engraved on the front, and "RICOH GR" on the reverse, making this an exclusive item that enhances the appearance of the camera.
16 special pin badges are included; 14 representing past GR models, a kit-exclusive 30th anniversary logo, and a GR logo.
