Motorola Ships Intel-powered MT788 Smartphone In China

Motorola Mobility and China Mobile are introducing Motorola MT788, the Android-powered smartphone with Intel Inside. Bazed on the Razr i series introduced by Intel and Motorola in September, the MT788 is powered by an Atom processor running at 2GHz. The device is based on the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS, it has a 8-megapixel camera with a multi-shot mode for snapping ten pictures in less than a second along with a continuous shot mode for taking up to 30 pictures. The camera also features up to 12 modes including HDR mode and Night Shot mode and is able to capture 1080P video.

The Motorola MT788 features an aluminum slim body, a 4.3-inch display protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass and comes in Licorice and Ultra White colors.

Additional features include:

- TD-SCDMA 1880/2010, HSDPA; GSM (900/1800/1900), GPRS/EDGE Class 12
- 4.3-inch 960x540 qHD display
- 4GB ROM
- 1735 mAh battery for up to 170 hours of standby time
- Intelligent shot modes to capture photos automatically when you are ready
- Front camera for video chat
- SmartActions for extending battery life and automating everyday tasks
- MotoSwitch user interface for ultimate device personalization

Starting from mid-December, Motorola MT788 is available through China Mobile stores across China and authorized Motorola resellers.
