MOUNTAIN has earned users respect with the beautiful design, features and of course price. The recent release for both DisplayPad and MacroPad comes to complete their lineup for input peripherals with beauty and style :-) Both products come in similar building materials, aluminium with black colour, and a steady and "heavy" base and features an ergonomic angle for easy access and use. Both product can be used with the MOUNTAIN keyboard as well to complete a setup.

Both MOUNTAIN DisplayPad and MacroPad 12 additional display screens and macro keys respectively, to further extend the options available with a current set-up. The DisplayPad has 12 small screens 104x104pixel that can display animated GIFs, JPG, PNG, and BMP file formats according to your taste. On the other hand the MacroPad offers 12 custom-made MOUNTAIN Tactile 55 switches that have been designed for smooth and quiet operation, making them ideal for gamers and professionals alike, with over 100 million actuations endurance and RGB translucent housing.

MOUNTAIN offers their own build-in house software to control/setup both products called, Base Camp. We liked the software, it’s simple and easy to use and really give users plenty of choices to work with from Macro Wizard, Profiles, Key Bindings, and more. For DisplayPad in particular, the display screens allow layers of shortcuts with Folders. Need to make some changes? Drag n' Drop movement of icons make that a breeze. Base Camp software also features pre-installed key bindings and icons for the most used functions of OBS Studio, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/Premiere, and DaVinci Resolve 18.

You can mount the Keypads to the MOUNTAIN Everest Max/Core keyboard or connect to the standalone base. Both options are available out of the box and have been designed to be sturdy, either fitting tightly on Everest itself, or on a hefty anti-slip base. As for quality...we are more than satisfied with aluminum plates, pre-lubed switches for the MacroPad, 104x104px screens for DisplayPad, and sturdy fitting, these Keypads are seriously built to last.

The price for each product is carefully selected, the DisplayPad costs €109.99, while MacroPad at €59.99. For comparison, Elgato Stream Deck (15 keys) is €149 while the Razer (or Loupedeck) goes for €269...For the price of Razer Loupedeck, users can buy an Everest Core keyboard and DisplayPad combo! Great price from MOUNTAIN.

If we had to nag about anything it would be two things: a) We hope that MOUNTAIN soon will also add MAC OSX and Linux as supported operating system, since for now, only Windows 10 and 11 operating systems are being supported and b) the RGB Lighting of the MacroPad cannot be controlled from software like Asus AURA, only through Base Camp, which may annoy some users.

Finally we have no problem suggesting both products to streamers, gamers, professional users or simply to users who wish to upgrade their keyboard setup with beauty and usability. Great work from MOUNTAIN both products earned a place in our office for improved flowork usability with our daily routine!
