The MOUNTAIN MacroPad costs around €59,99 (without shipping) and can be bought directly from MOUNTAIN. The box is very attractive and well designed and includes all the needed information for users to view before buying.

Removing the external carton box, we find another box inside that is kept in place with magnets.

Opening the box unveils its contents that are well protected inside hard foam.

The product consists of two components, the base and the MacroPad. The whole product is made out aluminium with black anodized colour, and is very attractive to the eye. The base alone weights around 411gr and it's the same as with the DisplayPad. At the bottom of the base there is also an ABS bottom cover with rubber pad that prevents the product moving around when placed upon slippery surfaces.

The main MacroPad component weights around 118gr and is made out aluminium with 12 buttons that have inside MOUNTAIN own Tactile 55 switches and have from M1 up to M12 numbering. Around each button there is RGB lighting up to 16.7 million colors and users can set numerous RGB modes (even different colour for each key) through Base Camp Software.

Installing the DisplayPad at the base is rather simple, just push and secure. At the back there is a Type-C connection and inside the box you will find a 2m USB Type-C to Type A braided cable.

Apart from the 2.0m USB cable, you will also find a Keycap/Switch removal tool. Finally, inside the box, you will find also several stickers and a quick start guide.
