Microsoft Adds Artificial Intelligence Elements To New Smart Camera App

Microsoft Adds Artificial Intelligence Elements To New Smart Camera App

Smartphones Jul 27,2016 0

Microsoft has just released Pix, a smart camera app for your iOS 9.0 or later device that promises to automatically adjust settings, focus and enhance your images for you.

Available at Apple's app Store, the Microsoft Pix has the following features:

  • Automatically checks scene and lighting between each shutter tap, and updates settings between each shot.
  • When it detects a face in the shot, it automatically optimizes capture settings
  • Captures a burst of frames every time you tap the shutter button, including frames before and after your tap, to help you catch the right moment.
  • Automatically selects up to three of the best and most unique shots from the burst and immediately deletes the rest.
  • Uses data from discarded burst frames to enhance each Best Image by improving exposure and color and reducing noise and blur.
  • Automatically creates a short, looping video by stitching together the frames from the burst into a Live Image, but only when it senses motion in your shot
  • Videos shot with Microsoft Pix are automatically stabilized and can be time-lapsed and saved at many different speeds.
  • Syncs to your camera roll, so you don’t have to import individually or save your photos and videos twice.
    Easy sharing
  • Uses iOS sharing, so you can share to the apps already installed on your phone.
