The EPOMAKER Galaxy 100, keeps all the good stuff we noticed over our EPOMAKER Galaxy 70 review and extends the keyboard size to a fully sized keyboard, which we like. This is a heavy keyboard and it's made like a tank. It's almost 2kg of weight. That extra weight translates to very high build quality and since all buttons are swapable, it's a nice platform to start working with. The used keycaps are made out of PBT, so the surface should be somewhat more resistant to turning shiny from skin oils, compared to ABS. The used stabilizers are all spot on with zero wobbles and zero rattles. Every keystroke has a nice deep thock, which might remind you of those old mechanical keyboards. In any case, the typing feeling on these keys is good sounds linear, and does feel very premium. As we mentioned earlier, this product has great build quality and, a beautiful matte finish (in any of the two colors you choose).

Unlike the Galaxy 70, the Galaxy 100, doesn't have a space to keep in-body the 2.4GHz USB receiver, which we find rather odd. There is a real metal volume knob that can be used to control the sound, is very practical and easy to use. We would like to be somewhat bigger. The keyboard supports three connection modes, cable/2.4GHz or BT, we didn't notice high lag so gaming would be great with this baby. There is an LED backlight present that is pale and works wonderfully. A strong selling point is that the Galaxy 100 is compatible with WestBerry VIA open source software, which can control your keyboard, either via the Web (Chrome/Edge for now) or locally via executable file. In both cases, you will need a JSON file that EPOMAKER provides to fully control the keyboard.

On the negative side, we would like to have bottom feet to further raise the keyboard. Because all letters are printed onto the keycaps, in total darkness you might have some problem looking at keys and identifying what key is for what use. The keys sound isn't low, so this may be not the best keyboard for an environment like an office that is shared with other people, again it's the personal taste of each user. The metal volume knob is tight but this may change over time. Lastly, the layout compared with other keyboards is slightly different at the Insert/Del/Home/End/PgUP/PgDn, so this may take some time to get used to.

Overall we find the EPOMAKER Galaxy 100 is a fine product for the $105 market and provided that you are looking for a fully sized mechanical keyboard, we can suggest this keyboard to anyone.
