DaTARIUS Technologies GmbH and aeco Ltd are pleased to announce that they have reached agreement for DaTARIUS to take over support of all aeco DVD and related technology as of immediate effect. “This represents the best possible deal for all our customers with DVD testers,” says Michael Hasenstab, Member of the Management Board of aeco parent Catalis N.V. “DaTARIUS has an excellent support infrastructure worldwide that encompasses all areas where we have test equipment installed.” The asset purchase involves all of the technology located at the aeco Ltd UK facility, formerly Aerosonic Ltd. It does not include any of the physical inspection equipment previously owned by aeco Germany GmbH, Aichach, which has been taken over by Dr. Schwab GmbH. The aeco takeover follows the acquisitions last year of CD Associates and the optical media division of Integral Vision, making the DaTARIUS Group the leading global company for measurement, inspection and process optimization equipment.
