Corsair is a well known memory manufacturer, delivering memory products for all type os users, including laptop. Most currently sold notebooks, either have 512MB or 1GB of memory and users are always looking for more memory that will boost their performance. Corsair offers both DDR2-533 and DDR2-667 modules, either in 512MB or 1GB kits. Depending on your laptop configuration, you can choose the appropriate package.

The installation process depends on your laptop. We didn't have any problems or incompatibility problems when installed with other memory modules, nor did we face any problems with the various laptops in which we installed the memory modules. As far as performance goes, the Corsair PC2-4200 and PC2-5400 were neither faster or slower compared with the other memory modules we tried. It depends on the benchmark software you use. We also didn't expect to see major performance differences, since all memory kits run at the same CL4 or CL5 timings. The best scenario for most users would be to try for 2GB of Corsair PC2-5400, since this combination gave the best performance overall in all tests, excluding gaming.

Users can find Corsair's PC2-4200 (533Mhz) and PC2-5400 (667Mhz) at a price ranging between US$75~85, depending on the online store and region availability. These Corsair memory products are ideal for those wanting to upgrade their laptop or notebook memory.
