BenQ to Introduce New Products at CeBIT

BenQ's new products displayed at CeBIT in Hannover this year, from March 9 to March 15 will include joybooks, projectors, displays and LCD-TVs. The Taiwanese company will introduce its latest WXGA joybook the S53W that offers a 60 GB harddisk, a 13" widescreen display and a brightness of 200cd/m² with multiple connection possibilites and integrated wireless LAN functionality. A double layer DVD burner is integrated into the new joybook. BenQ S53W will be available from March 2006.

The BenQ W10000 projector will be also be introduced in Hannover this year. With the new DLP-Chip (by Texas Instruments) which allows a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels the W10000 has a contrast ratio of 15.000:1 and 1.200 ANSI Lumen. It uses and HDMI digital connection and real 16:9 HDTV-resolution. The W10000 will be released in at the end of 2006.

BenQ will present two displays which provide HDMI interfaces: the FP241W and the FP301W.

BenQ FP241W (24 inches)
- Resolution 1920x1200
- Brightness 500cd/m²
- Contrast ratio 1000:1
- 8ms GTG
- Viewing angle 178/178
- Available in June 2006

BenQ FP301W (30 inches)
- Resolution 2560x1600
- Contrast 700:1
- Brightness 400cd/m²
- Viewing angle 178/178
- Available in at the end of 2006

The new LCD-TV to be shown at CeBIT will be the BenQ PL4271 will with real HDTV resolution of 1920x1080, a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a brightness of 550cd/m². With an 8ms response time, the BenQ PL4271 will be available in June 2006.
