Asus is teasing with an upcoming announcement of an updated Padfone Infinity smartphone and tablet combo on September 17. According to its teaser page, the 'Padfone The Future' will launch next Tuesday and also includes a short teaser video showing the smartphone section blasting off out of its tablet dock.

Previous rumors have suggested it would get an upgraded processor and a microSD expansion slot.
