Adobe Highlights Video Innovations at IBC 2010

Adobe Highlights Video Innovations at IBC 2010

Enterprise & IT Sep 9,2010 0

Adobe is showcasing advances in next-generation video and rich media solutions at the IBC 2010 tradeshow, that improve the creation, delivery and monetization of content for broadcasters, media companies and the enterprise. Adobe will demonstrate its new solutions and highlight key customer and partner focused initiatives during the IBC 2010 Exhibition at its stand (Hall 7, Stand H.23) in the RAI Convention Center, Sept. 10-14.

Next-Generation Flash Technology

At IBC, Adobe is announcing the Adobe Flash Media Server 4 family, the company's solution for streaming video and real-time communication. Adobe is unveiling three new versions of Flash Media Server 4: Flash Media Streaming Server 4, Flash Media Interactive Server 4 and Flash Media Enterprise Server 4, the first release that enables maximum reach with minimum network load through peer-assisted delivery of content. Flash Media Server software offers solutions that enable content owners to create and deliver high quality, network-efficient media experiences at a lower cost.

Enhanced Tapeless Workflows and Improved GPU-Acceleration

Adobe recently announced Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 version 5.0.2 software, an update for Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 users that improves support for GPU-acceleration through the Mercury Playback Engine. The update also provides improved color grading and improved audio support. With Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 (5.0.2), Adobe is offering RED Workflow improvements, including RED Rocket support, Sony XDCAM-HD export support, and native JVC QuickTime and DPX format support.

Online Reviews through Adobe CS Review

To streamline video reviews, Adobe CS Review, a new online service that enables teams to collaborate more efficiently by providing frame-accurate comments on video projects over the web, now integrates with Adobe Premiere Pro CS5. New direct access from within Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 enhances the efficiency and convenience of using Adobe CS Live online services, which will be complimentary for a limited time.
