Matsushita Electric Industrial has reached an out-of-court settlement with Samsung of a two-year dispute over plasma display panel-related patents, Matsushita officials said Wednesday. Although not much information was revealled about the terms of the deal, the companies are most likely close to concluding a cross-license agreement enabling each to use the other's patented technologies.
