NEC recently released a new burner, the ND-4550A. After only a short period, they released yet another, the ND-4551A.

Nec's latest addition to the market goes by the name of NEC-ND 3540A and as one can see from the specs table posted below, not many things have changed since the previous model, the 3530A. DVD±R burning speed has been maxed out, so no change has been introduced here.
