VOB releases InstantCD/DVD 6.5

VOB Computersysteme GmbH, a major worldwide developer of software products for CD and DVD recording, has announced a new release of InstantCD/DVD that includes enhanced features for writing video, audio and data to CDs and DVDs. InstantCD/DVD is a software application for the Windows environment that provides a complete solution for capturing, organizing and recording all kind of data to CDs/DVDs. The highlight of InstantCD/DVD 6.5 is the integration of DVD authoring that allows the user to record his videos to DVD. The created DVDs can be played back on every DVD player. InstantVideo, a program part of InstantCD/DVD, contains a proprietary MPEG2 encoder and also supports the creation of VideoCDs, Super VideoCDs and Photo VCDs. Additionally InstantVideo includes an extensive set of editing tools for digital photos and other digital images.

InstantVideo now offers its customers the possibility to copy his 9 GB DVD movies on 4 GB DVD, Super VideoCD and VideoCD. InstantVideo automatically converts the film into the right format and the right size considering the optimal quality.

Another unique feature is the "Quick Writing" function which allows the user the immediate use of unformatted discs. Data can be added to existing sessions and old discs can be overwritten without having to erase the medium first.

"Our main target was to make the disc recording as convenient and powerful as possible for the user and we are convinced that we have achieved this", says Cordula Thol, Head of Marketing at VOB Computersysteme GmbH.

InstantCD/DVD 6.5 is the only software that offers a total solution and will now be available via download on the VOB company homepage www.vob.de
