Writing Quality Tests - 3T Jitter Tests

Using 80min 48x CD-R media from Taiyo Yuden, we burned the same AudioCD project at 8x, 12x and 16x. On this page you can see the 3T Pit & Land Jitter graphs.

- 3T Pit results

The results we took are possibly the best we have ever experienced. The drive is an excellent CD burner with very low 3T Pit jitter values, using the specific media. The maximum value was at 16x and it was 25nsec. As a sidenote, the RedBook limit is for jitter 35ns.

The average 3T Pit Jitter values for all recording speeds are illustrated in the following table.

- 3T Land results

Once again the drive exhibited high quality results. The maximum 3T Land Jitter value was 27nsec for the 12x recording speed.
