According to DigiTimes, Lite-On IT recently obtained an OEM order for DVD recorders from Sanyo Electric and will begin shipments in the fourth quarter of this year, according to sources in the local ODD industry. Other local ODD makers thought the report likely to be true since Lite-On IT has a close business relationship with Sanyo and currently uses Sanyo?s pick-up heads in its drives.
