Instagram is Working on New AR Effects Feature

Instagram is Working on New AR Effects Feature

Enterprise & IT May 21,2019 0

Instagram is working on yet another Snapchat-like feature called AR Effects Explore, which will allow users to find lenses and AR effects created by other Instagram users.

Those who have used rival Snapchat are probably aware of Community Lenses, a feature that lets users find lenses created by other Snapchat users, and use them like any other Snapchat filter. Instagram's AR Effects Explore is actually a copy of that feature.

AR Effects Explore feature lets you find AR effects from different categories like Selfies, Love, Color & Light, Camera Styles, Moods, Funny Surroundings, Animals, Sci-fi & Fantasy, Weird & Scary, Events, Fandom and Causes. In addition, through Instagram's new Stories UI, it’s easy to scroll through the different effects and try them out instantly.

It is not clear when the new feature will be publically available to Instagram users.
