Huawei is expected to launch the P9 smartphone in the first quarter of 2016, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report. Huawei's new flagship model is expected to come in March. The device is likely to be available in two variants, the P9 and P9 Max. The P9 will feature a 5.2-inch 2K display, while the P9 Max will sport a 6.2-inch display, said the paper.

HTC is also expected to release the HTC One X9, in the second half of February 2016. The One X9 will feature a 5.5-inch display, MediaTek CPU and a 13-megapixel camera, EDN said.
