After a delay due to a mechanical issue with a third party component supplier Nvidia Shield's handheld gaming console will be shipped out on July 31. You can experience SHIELD for yourself at SHIELD Experience Centers at select GameStop, Microcenter and Canada Computers brick-and-mortar locations in the U.S. and Canada.

The Shield is Nvidia's first handheld game console. It has a five-inch, 1280x720 screen, a Tegra 4 processor, 2GB of RAM, a built-in Xbox-style controller, and an HDMI output with support for 4K displays. In addition to running Android games, the Shield is capable of streaming PC titles from a PC equipped with a Gefirce graphics card.
