Moser Baer Launches Print Max BD-R Discs For Primera Printers

Optical Storage Oct 28,2009 0

Moser Baer, the world?s second largest manufacturer of Optical Storage media, has launched Print Max, a BDR White Inkjet Printable discs designed to work with Primera Technology's range of products. The full surface printable BDR discs have been manufactuired using the advanced technology at Moser Baer?s optical media manufacturing plant in the suburbs of New Delhi in India and also at OM&T, Moser Baer's Netherlands-based subsidiary.

The discs are available for the entire range of BDR discs offered by Moser Baer India: BDR 1-4x, BDR 1-6x & BD RE 1-2x.

Both Moser Baer and Primera have been working together to ensure sharp and bright printings on the full surface of the discs - ideal for use by professional duplicators.

Moser Baer BDR comes with Inkjet Printable coating. Each disc can be printed from the edge to the hub (Full Surface Printing), ensuring great print runs using up to 16 million colors. Inkjet coating is available in silver and white finish to cater to the requirements of duplicators.

"MBI BDR inkjet surface has been tested extensively at our end and has been found to work well with our Bravo-series Disc Publishing systems. The image quality & surface finish of MBI media offers excellent performance," says Primera?s Mark D Strobel.
