And it is equally impressive in burning optical storage media as well: It writes DVD+R and DVD-R formats at speeds up to 16x, DVD+RW at speeds up to 8x and DVD-RW at speeds up to 6x. Equally impressive are its numbers for disks in the DVD+R DL (8x) and DVD-R DL (4x) formats.
All hardware components are ?lead-free?. This DVD/CD burner thus already meets recycling standards that will come into effect on January 1, 2006.
