ZIDOO unveiled two new TV Boxes called ZIDOO Z10 and ZIDOO Z9S, powered by the upgraded Realtek RTD1296 chipset.

Both new devices feature aluminum cases along with similar specifications, with their main differences to be in features and I/O ports. They run on Android 7.1 + OpenWRT(NAS) dual system and are powered by the Realtek 1296 Quad-core 64 A53 processor. They come with 2GB RAM, 16GB eMMC built-in storage, Gigabit LAN, and offers 802.11ac 2T2R 867Mbps WIFI and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity.

An image quality optimization engine and an optimized HDR transfer algorithm promise to restore original colors when playing 4K HDR even without HDR TV, while supporting SDR mapping HDR.

The players also support accurate frame rate switching and automatic resolution switching (23.976,59.94,25,30,50,60), 4k 60p point-to-point output, wide-color domain HDR/HDR10, 10Bit color depth, 1.07 billion colors 4K 60P decoding H.265 /HEVC 10bit.

The device also offer UHD Blu-ray original navigation menu along with many subtitle functions - change of fonts, color effects, online download subtitles, SUP and ASS effects captions.

ZIDOO's built-in music player 3.0 has a new design and supports audio formats such as SACD, DFF, DSF, APE, FLAC, WAV, along with CUE rails.

The ZIDOO Z10 is a multimedia combo allows you to store files in the 3.5″ HDD bay (3.5″ hard drive up to 10TB, ZIDOO Z9S support 2x SATA 3.0 Serial ATA interface), also has the functionality of NAS with support for multiple protocols to OpenWRT. They also have a Dual HDMI. You can connect via HDMI IN signal from the Digital TV tuner, and use the PiP (Picture in Picture), record the signal from the HDMI IN and stream it to devices on your network.
