AudioDev has received an order for CATS test equipment for Blue laser media from Singulus Technologies. The CATS-analyzers will be used by Singulus R&D-team in Kahl for development as well as for line commissioning for the BD and HD DVD formats, both pre-recorded and recordable/re-writable disc types.

CATS analysers for Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD are based on a reference drive developed by Toptica Photonics AG.
