Rise of the Cable – Akasa’s Riser Black X2 Mark IV is the premium riser cable for you!

Rise of the Cable – Akasa’s Riser Black X2 Mark IV is the premium riser cable for you!

GPUs Dec 10,2021 0

Akasa, a leading provider of computer cables and accessories, has just released an updated version of the riser cable with PCIe 4.0 compatibility. The premium black PCIe riser cable is capable of up to 32 Gbps of data transfer speeds and is built with high-end aesthetics in mind. Combined with a vertical mount (not included), the cable can flaunt the GPU fan designs – your PC will never look the same again!

The PCIe 4.0 technology helps to make the most of certain graphics cards, such as AMD’s RX 5700XT. This reduces computing time compared to PCIe 3.0 by increasing the rate at which data is loaded onto the graphics card – therefore reducing computing time and increasing the ever-important frame rates of your demanding games. To make the most of PCIe 4.0, the newest generations of AMD and Intel chipsets should be used (AMD’s 500 and 600 chipsets, and Intel’s 11th Generation Rocket Lake chipset).

EMI shielding from high frequencies such as radio-waves, protecting the expensive graphics cards from electromagnetic radiation and data loss. The shielding increases the efficiency of data transfer from the motherboard and allows for optimum performance from the GPU. For small form factor cases, this riser cable is perfect to connect a GPU and organise the cables efficiently. This improves airflow in these cases, and combined with the 200mm long cable, the Riser Black X2 Mark IV can conveniently connect the GPU to your motherboard.
