Panasonic Introduces New Technics Headphones

Panasonic Introduces New Technics Headphones

Consumer Electronics Sep 17,2012 0

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the launch of the legendary Technics SL-1200 direct-drive turntable system, Panasonic today announced the reintroduction of Technics Pro DJ headphones. The Technics RP-DH1250 and RP-DJ1205 models offer users comfort, usability and pristine audio quality. An integrated swivel mechanism allows for free-style or single side monitoring and a foldable design makes packing and carrying these headphones convenient. They are equipped with interchangeable DJ coiled and iPhone microphone cords. A wide, padded headband offers comfort for extended wear and a closed-ear design ensures users hear every note. A 3,500 mW power handling capacity and 5Hz~30kHz frequency response offers users high sound levels with deep base without distortion or noise and a 24k gold-plated stereo plug ensures flawless contact with DJ equipment and other listening devices to reduce signal loss.

The Technics RP-DJ1205 Pro DJ Headphones offer free-style monitoring with a swing arm system and features reversible housing for single-side music monitoring. A padded headband makes the Technics RP-DJ1205 comfortable for extended wear and a water resistant design allows the headphones to stand up to sweat when a user is dancing. With a 1,500 mW power handling capacity and 5Hz~30kHz frequency response the Technics RP-DJ1205 produce deep base with minimal distortion. Like the Technics RP-DH1250, the RP-DJ1205's are equipped with a convenient DJ coiled cord, a 24K gold-plated L-type stereo plug adaptor and feature a foldable design.

The Panasonic Technics headphones are now available for pre-order on Panasonic.com for an SRP of $269.99 (RP-DH1250) and $229.99 (RP-DJ1205). Both models will be available in select retail locations in October 2012.
