Lite-On IT, the largest Taiwan-based maker of optical disc drives, has obtained ODM orders for half-height DVD burners from Moser Baer India (MBI), the India-based producer of blank optical discs. The information has not been officialy confirmed and it is reported by Digitimes.com, citing unnamed industry sources in Taiwan. According to the deal, Moser Baer India will bundle its CD-R and DVD+R/-R discs with DVD burners made by Lite-On IT.

Moser Baer and Lite-On Digital Solutions have announced last September their colaboration on optical disc drives that will allow the Indian company to introducte its first DVD writer, under the 'Moser Baer Lite-on' brand.
