"..I-Jam Multimedia L.L.C. today introduced a portable CD player --the IJ-828 --. The IJ-828 is designed to playback music from compact discs, as well as MP3 and other audio content downloaded from the Internet.
The IJ-828 measures 1 x 5.5 x 6.5 inches, loads on top and is compatible with both standard and CD-R media, with music encoded in MP3 format. It uses two AA batteries for eight continuous hours of play, delivers 50mW audio output, and comes with two Line-Out and DC input jacks and car kit and/or AC-DC adapter to enable the device to be hooked up to a home or car stereo.
It has an LCD screen to display track numbers and elapsed playtime, has standard controls including stop, play, fast forward and rewind, as well as repeat and shuffle options and a 10 second digital anti-skip protection system.
