Hitachi/LG plans to start selling a new DVD burner that will support all DVD recordable/re-writable formats (DVD±R/±RW/RAM) at June for the Japanese territory. The product will mainly focused for OEM customers at unknown price. The GSA-4040B supports both the DVD Forum and DVD+RW Alliance recordable/re-writable format making it a unique solution for the power users... Apart from the DVD format, CD-R/RW formats also supports. The drive doesn't support cartridge type DVD-RAM discs.
