It seems the rumor we posted yesterday about turn your Ricoh 7040A (4/4/20) to Ricoh 7060A (6/4/24) works! All reports that i got saying that burns were succefull. Someone reported that it had errors when reading CDs (about 50% errors..)

I imagine that the mechanism of Ricoh 7040A cannot handle the 24x reading speed.. Maybe people who made the upgrade consider NOT using the CDR as their primary reader, which we shouldn;t do anyway, and use it only for burning issues.. NULL
