Because the Greenliant CFast 256GB product is mainly for Industrial and Enterprise users it doesn’t have a retail box. The card itself has the standard dimensions and logos to indicate its performance. For our tests we used a CFast to SATA adapter. We had to set a partition (NTFS formatted) in order for Windows to recognize it.

Users will get around 238GB available under Windows.

After loading CrystalDiskInfo we got some information about the card’s abilities. The card supports SATA600 connection type, meaning performance should be high enough (up to 550mb/sec). Of course it also supports S.M.A.R.T., NCQ and Trim functions under Windows.

For our tests we used the AJA System Tests, that can benchmark storage devices for typical A/V use. The first signs are very good, since the CFast card was able to reach 494mb/sec reading and around 456MB/sec writing.

Passing to other benchmarks, the ATTO Disk Benchmark gave us higher speed (probably due to Windows Caching)

Getting into the CrystalDiskMark testing suite we got the following scores:

The AS SSD Benchmark gives an overall score of 1084.

While IOMeter gave us good performance, considering the size and purpose of the Greenliant CFast 256GB memory card.
