Users can buy the Pure Power 13M 1200Watt for around $229.90 / €214.90 (including VAT) according to the official press release. The Pure Power 13M 1200Watt is an entry-level power supply product, with pricing in mind but also good performance. The retail package is according to what be quiet! has been used in the past and now all Pure Power 13M series include ten (10) years of warranty. The product includes both 80Plus Gold and Cybernetics Gold ratings.

Everything is well packaged, there are two printed manuals and the main PSU is protected via a carton box and blister pack, while on the left, you will find all accessories/cables.

The PSU has the typical ATX power supply dimensions (160 x 86 x 150) and weighs 2.46kg, meaning it will fit in most PC cases.

At the top, there is a big 120mm fan with low noise levels. be quiet! says that the fan is thermally governed to strike the best balance between effective cooling and quietness with up to 2000rpm speed. The fan seems to produce higher noise levels compared with other be quiet! products 32.3dB(A) at full 100% speed.

The power supply has a matte black finish like most of the tested power supplies we have recently seen at our labs. All the edges are not sharp, so you can handle it without any worries. The rear has a honeycomb design, that helps lower the PSU's internal temperature since drives the produced hot air out of the case.

At the back, we can find the power ratings of the product. The power supply has one (strong) +12V rail producing 100A and. The +5V boosts 22A, while the +3.3V rail 22A as well. Lastly, the +5VSB gives another 3A. While the product has a single +12V rail, it should hold just fine with general use.

The product has up to 90.8% efficiency at 100% load, according to the official specifications.

80 PLUS certification Gold
Cybenetics ETA Gold
Efficiency (%) at 230V, 2% load 75.9
Efficiency (%) at 230V, 10% load 91.2
Efficiency (%) at 230V, 20% load 93.4
Efficiency (%) at 230V, 50% load 93.6
Efficiency (%) at 230V, 100% load 90.8

The be quiet! PurePower 13M 1200watt has many connectors to get devices powered up and follows a modular design, that is great for users. There are both sleeved/flat cables included as follows:

No. of cables 8
ATX-Motherboard (20+4-pin) 1 550mm
P4+4 (CPU) P4+4 (CPU) 650mm
P8 (CPU) 1 650mm
