Writing Quality Tests - C1 / C2 Error Measurements

The C1 / C2 error rate was measured for the recorded discs, burned during the previous writing tests (jitter). The software used was UMDoctor Pro II and the reader is the Optorite DD0203 drive.

Umdoctor clearly showed quality results for all written media. The TY discs, as expected, gave back the lowest C1C2 mesurements, among all tested media, at all writing speeds. Slightly increased resutls reported from Smartbuy media while Primedisc gave back increased C1 spikes from 40 to 50 min of the written data.
