Samsung Electronics announced the Samsung Galaxy View, a 18.4-inch Android mobile tablet designed for entertainment. The device has a 18.4" Full HD screen touchscreen, a 2-way stand and has been optimized for media consumption. It features a dedicated home screen for videos that showcase various content services and high quality stereo speakers (4W x2). A 2.1 MP front-fasing camera allows for video calls, and a
customized dashboard called Family Square allows you to connect with friends and family members.

The Galaxy View’s 5700mAh battery life provides up to 8 hours of video playback. It is powered by an 1.6 GHz octa-core proecessor and accepts an LTE Nano-SIM card. It also packs 2GB RAM, 32/64GB internal memory and a microSD slot. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.1 BLE, WiFi 80.211a/b/g/n/ac and LTE.

Samsung’s Galaxy View isn’t yet on the market either, and it hasn’t revealed dates or prices as of yet.
