Samsung Electronics today announced a range of new audio products to be launched at 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show, including the WAM7500/6500, an expanded lineup of Curved Soundbar, the ultra-slim Series 9 2015 Edition Ultrabook and the new Ativ One 7 Curved AIO. WAM7500/6500 is a new concept for Samsung. Unlike conventional speakers that project sound in a single direction, the WAM7500/6500 fills entire rooms with sound.

This breakthrough in approach to audio came through the utilization of proprietary 'Ring Radiator' technology which allows sound to flow in a 360-degree radius, with a balance between treble and bass.

WAM7500/6500 was in part developed at Samsung’s new audio lab in Valencia, California and uses premium materials across the exterior of the speakers, allowing it to stylishly blend in with any home décor. It will be released in two models; Stand-type(WAM7500) and Movable-type(WAM6500).

Stand-type offers a stylish build paired with premium sound quality. Movable-type comes with a built-in battery. Both models seamlessly connect to TVs, soundbars and mobile devices.

Samsung also plans to unveil the first TV matching Curved Soundbar lineup, which has been expanded since its introduction in mid-2014. In addition to the 7500 series, Samsung will release the 8500, 6500 and 6000 series, extending the lineup to a total of four that match Samsung’s Curved TVs of various sizes - from 45- to 78-inches.

The newly-introduced 8500 series will also offer enhanced sound quality with its 9.1 channel speakers, thanks to a central speaker and additional side speakers situated at both ends.

In addition, Samsung has disclosed its Series 9 2015 Edition Ultrabook on its Korean-language blog.

The new model will come with a 12.2-inch display and weigh in at 2 pounds. It is also coming with a new Intel Core M-5Y10c Broadwell processor instead of Core i5 and i7 options. Other specs currently include 8GB of RAM and 256GB of solid-state storage. The screen has a high resolution of 2,560x1,600 (WQXGA), a brightness of 700 nits, and an adaptive feature that adjusts lighting to the viewing environment.

Samsung claims 12 hours of battery life from the Series 9 2015 Edition, which will ship with Windows 8.1.

Samsung has also disclosed a new curved All-in-One, the Ativ One 7 Curved. Available in January, the PC is equipped with 27-inch 1920x1080 p curved panel and features dynamic 10W speakers and TV scheduling and recording thanks to the HDMI I/O. The system is powered by an Intel i5 CPU, comes with 8GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD and 1TB HDD combo. Windows 8.1 is installed. There's no dedicated GPU, so don't pin your hopes on this being your next primary gaming machine. Instead, this one seems targeted at your family or living room.

The the 4000R curvature of the new Samsung ATIV One 7 makes the screen feel even larger than its already ample 27-inches. Wide viewing angles (178 degrees) make it also easy to enjoy the screen from almost anywhere in the room without having to shift focus.

Bluetooth Music Play 3.0 allows users to instantly connect and play music from their smartphone through the ATIV One 7 Curved speakers, even if the PC is off.

SideSync 3.0 lets you receive texts and calls from your phone on the PC, and you can also fully control your smartphone by mirroring its screen on the Ativ One 7's 27-inch display. Samsung will start shipping the Ativ One 7 in the first quarter of 2015 for $1,299.
