Eastman Kodak Co overtook Sony Corp in digital camera shipments in the United States in 2004, research firm International Digital Corp said Wednesday. Kodak boosted digital camera shipments 66% from the previous year to 4.88 million units, expanding its U.S. market share 4.0 percentage points to 21.9%, IDC said.
