The Intel Experience Coming In Best Buy Stores

The Intel Experience Coming In Best Buy Stores

Enterprise & IT Oct 15,2014 0

Intel launches "The Intel Experience" exclusively in 50 Best Buy retail stores in the U.S. The hands-on experience zone gives everyone the opportunity to try, explore and play with the latest technologies like 3-D printing, gaming meets augmented reality, and digital disc jockey (DJ) remixing.

Customers will be able to get their hand on a touch-enabled, Intel-powered laptop, design their own 3-D model of a robot and experience 3-D printing as featured robot designs.

With the Mars Escape augmented reality game, cutomers will use Intel tablets to design and race a Mars Rover. They will be ableto navigate their virtual space rovers through a physical Mars landscape.

Wannabe DJ's will have the chance to get on the booth where an Intel-powered 2 in 1 device will be available, allowing them to remix a track by
singer-song writer Ne-Yo and controll the stage lights.

“People don’t normally have the opportunity to experience the kind of cutting-edge technology that will be featured in these shops,” said Jason Bonfig, senior category officer for computing and tablets at Best Buy. “It’s a natural extension of our goal to showcase the endless possibilities of technologies and ignite our customers’ imaginations.”

The Intel Experience will reach across the U.S. from Los Angeles and San Francisco to Austin and Boise across to Annapolis and Daytona Beach.
