Seagate Delivers Firewire 800 Solution for Mac Market
Seagate announced that it will start shipping a triple-interface, pre-formatted, HFS+ Mac version of its Maxtor OneTouch III external storage and backup solution in the Japanese market.
The Maxtor OneTouch III external storage solution with a FireWire 800 interface delivers up to 800Mbit per second data transfer rates.
Capacities of the new triple-interface, FireWire 800/FireWire 400/USB 2.0 Maxtor OneTouch III solutions are 200GB, 300GB, 320GB and 500GB. Software tools integrated into the entire Maxtor OneTouch III family of products include the ability to automatically backup and easily restore data, synchronize data between two or more computers and a System Rollback feature that helps return PC systems to a healthier state after a damaging spyware attack.
The complete family of Maxtor OneTouch III external storage and backup solutions are available through major retailers, distributors and online stores.
