Toshiba gears up for a DVD holiday with new model and free DVD rentals
Toshiba, a primary developer and leader in DVD technology, is gearing up for the 2002 holiday season with an all-star lineup of state-of-the-art DVD players and an exciting offer from Hollywood Video. In an exclusive promotion with Hollywood Video, Toshiba is giving away 10 free DVD rentals with the purchase of any Toshiba branded DVD player between November 15th and December 31st, 2002. Consumers can choose from Toshiba's broad range of DVD players covering key price ranges and feature sets, including the industry's first DVD recorder with an 80GB built-in hard disc drive (RD-X2), and the industry's only portable DVD-Video/Audio player with progressive scan output featuring an 8.9-inch high resolution LCD display (SD-P2000).
Just in time for the holiday season, Toshiba is also introducing the newest member of the DVD family, the SD-1800. A high performance player with all the technological excellence and convenience features expected from Toshiba DVD products, the SD-1800 is perfect for first-time DVD buyers.
