Taiyo Yuden Joins One-Blue Licensing Program

TAIYO YUDEN CO., LTD. is the latest company to join the One-Blue product licensing program as a licensor. TAIYO YUDEN has contributed to the development of Blu-ray Disc products technologies and joins current licensors Cyberlink, Dell, Hewlett-Packard, Hitachi, JVC Kenwood, LG Electronics, Panasonic, Pioneer, Philips, Samsung, Sony and Yamaha.

"One-Blue is proud to announce that TAIYO YUDEN joins our licensing program as the thirteenth licensor. TAIYO YUDEN has been very closely involved in the research and development of Blu-ray Disc products technologies and adds valuable essential patents to the program," says Roel Kramer, CEO of One-Blue.

One-Blue administers the licensing program for patents essential to Blu-ray Disc products and is the joint licensing agent of its licensors.
