Samsung Launches KNOX Partner Program

Samsung Launches KNOX Partner Program

Smartphones Nov 12,2013 0

Samsung launched the Samsung KNOX Partner Program designed for ISVs and resellers to extend the benefits of KNOX to the enterprise market. Samsung KNOX was introduced in Barcelona earlier this year as an enterprise-ready Secure Android Platform powering new Samsung GALAXY branded devices in the market. KNOX is designed to fortify Android by leveraging the hardware to provide a high level of security. KNOX resolves the two enterprise mobility concerns for customers - security and manageability ? in addition to addressing the ability to separate work and play.

"We are launching Samsung KNOX partner program and believe it is a truly exciting time in our journey towards winning in the Enterprise segment." said Dr. Injong Rhee, Senior Vice President and Head of B2B R&D Group, IT & Mobile Division at Samsung Electronics.

"With Samsung KNOX, for the very first time Enterprise IT can deploy Android devices, which are loved by consumers for enterprise usage, ensuring highest levels of platform security and information protection. This excitement is shared by our Go-To-Market partners and they have signed up overwhelmingly to partner with us to resell KNOX and in turn unlock tremendous value in their Enterprise Mobility offerings. We look forward to a long-term win-win with our partners."

The program offers Platinum, Gold and Silver levels and is waiving minimum requirements for the first six months, allowing Samsung's partners signed to enjoy the benefits of the Platinum level. After initial recruitment and performance analysis Samsung will enforce minimums and tier benefits.

Samsung is holding partner training programs for Knox. The next two trainings are scheduled for December 4-5, 2013 and January 14-15, 2014.
